When Pakistan banned PUBG, it was the last time PUBG facing ban. After that, there was no complexity of any ban.
Reasons Behind PUBG Banned In Pakistan
PUBG was banned in Pakistan by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, reasoning that PUBG is an addictive game, it causes a negative impact on children’s psychological and physical growth, and playing PUBG is nothing but a waste of precious time.
People from different parts of society and parents were complaining about the game being harmful to their children and the country’s youth. So, on July 1, 2020, the Lahore High Court’s looked into the matter and banned the game temporarily until further order from the court.
After that, on July 30, 2020, there was a meeting held between the PTA and the legal representatives of Proxima Beta. They answered all questions and focused attention on comprehensive control of the mechanism of the game. After this, the ban was lifted from the game.
Is PUBG Banned In Pakistan? Still!
The answer is ” NO.” The Islamabad High Court ordered the government to lift the ban immediately on 24 July 2020, and the PTA looked into it and lifted the ban on 30th JULY 2020.
